I think that Mariah chose the gift she does for Lynn because she wanted to give Lynn something special, not just any regular present. I think that it's positively the right choice. I think it's the right choice because Lynn probably wouldn't want regular presents anyway, and Mariah,like I said earlier, would want to give her sister something special. student#25
I think that Mariah made the right choice for Lynn. Most people would have liked it including me. I would have liked the gift because it was a surprise. It would have been fun to be suprised and see so many people that care for you and participated to help Lynn for her birthday party.It would have been fun.You wouldn't have knew it and Lynn must have had so much fun. It was also made by themselves. It would have been so special for anybody.

Even though Lynn didn't want this, Mariah new that this gift was different, and that Lynn would like it. It was a smart, interesting, and loving choice to make. If I was in Mariah's situation I would make the same choice as she did.

What Mariah gave Lynn was great! If Mariah gave Lynn a party with no surprise it would still be good, but a party and a surprise is better. The surprise birthday party gift was great, because if Mariah just give Lynn a regular present like a book it wouldn't have been that special. Lynn can get a book or something Whenever she like like Christmas.Plus if Mariah just gives Lynn a simple gift it wouldn't be that memorable unlike a surprise birthday party. They tried to get her out of the house so she would not get surprised before the party. When Lynn suspected something they send her on a errant so they could finish decorating. If she just got a gift, Lynn would be able to play with it, but then it would soon be forgotten. Giving Lynn the party shows Mariah cares about Lynn.
